Check the records in a useful order
Logos and polished pages are easy to copy. Public records are harder to fake.
Check the clinician
Search the medical board of whichever state you will be in when the visit happens. Search the full name. Confirm the licence is current. The board’s page may also list discipline, meaning actions the board took against the person, such as a fine, limits on their practice, or a suspended licence. Ask about any recent action before you go ahead, and walk away if the licence is suspended or not current.
Find the correct state boardCheck the pharmacy
Ask for the pharmacy’s full name before paying. Then use your state board of pharmacy to confirm it may send medicine to your state.

Search the FDA medicine records for the generic name and form. Search the company name in the FDA’s list of warning letters too. A warning letter is an official notice that the FDA believes a company broke drug law. Finding one is a reason to be careful and to read what the letter says.
As of September 2026, “FDA registered” still does not mean “FDA approved.” Registration is not a review of a product’s quality or effect.
