Price the whole month, not the first click
The headline may cover only one part. Put every repeating charge on one page before deciding.
Start with the drug companies’ own cash prices
As of September 2026, the drug companies behind brand-name weight medicines such as Wegovy and Zepbound mostly charged cash-paying patients about $149 to about $499 per month.
That price is for the medicine itself. A clinic’s visit fees and tests are usually billed on top. Some doses cost more, and some of the lower prices apply only if you reorder within the time the company sets. Treat these numbers as a rough guide from one date, not as what your own prescription will cost.
Add every layer
Many online weight services use a monthly membership. The medicine is often a separate charge.
Make unlike prices comparable
Ask for the normal price after any opening offer. Ask how much product the price covers. Keep insurance copays (your fixed share at the pharmacy), drug-company cash offers, discount cards, and list prices in separate columns.
